FAQ
ZB Cloud questions
Which clouds, which GPUs, where your data lives, and what happens when a cloud goes down.
What is ZB Cloud?
A cloud that runs on four kinds of cloud: the big global clouds, sovereign clouds, specialist GPU clouds and decentralized clouds. ZB Cloud sends each job to the one that should run it, by price, capacity and location, and moves it when one of those changes. See ZB Cloud.
Which clouds can I use?
The big global clouds, sovereign clouds inside a country's border, specialist GPU clouds and decentralized networks of independent machines. A job that must stay inside a border stays there. See Four kinds of cloud.
Can I choose the cloud myself?
Yes, on any job. Pin it to one cloud or one region and the Cloud Router keeps it there. You will rarely need to.
Where does my data live?
Where your policy says it may live. Set a location rule once, such as "stays in Bangladesh", and every job that touches that data follows it. Only clouds that meet the rule are considered for those jobs.
Which GPUs?
NVIDIA H100, H200 and B200, AMD MI300X, and CPUs of every size. A job can name the hardware it needs or leave the choice to the Cloud Router, which checks what is free on each cloud before every placement.
What if a cloud goes down?
The Cloud Router moves the job to the next cloud that meets the same rules. Backups and a second region are there by default, and long jobs save their progress as they run, so a moved job continues from its last save.
What does ZB Cloud cost?
Hosting and computing at the cloud's own price, shown in your record beside every task, unless your program covers them.
How does my AI team use it?
Your AI team builds the app, the model or the job and hands it to ZB Cloud with a list of what it needs. ZB Cloud places it, runs it and writes to the record, where you see its cloud, time and cost beside the task it belongs to.
